Bethesda Family Services Foundation Parenting Program
Assessment of Relational Issues Results Summary
Pennsylvania State Department of Corrections
The Assessment of Relational Issues is completed by each individual in the program. This assessment is given at the end of each Level One and each Level Two/Advanced 12-week course. The Assessments provide a basis from which to begin topics and reveal areas that may need more in-depth discussion. It also assists in measuring the changes in inmates upon program completion.
The before section should reflect what the inmates thought before they started the program. The after section is what they have learned by going through the course and what they currently believe. (However, both areas are filled out after the course has been completed.) Prior to completing the assessment of relational issues, the instructor fully explains each section.
